Da Nang International Firework Festival 2024 Officially Returns!

This year’s event shall officially be conducted in Da Nang every Saturday for 6 weeks, from 08/06 to 13/07. The Organizing Committee informed that there had been 8 groups anticipated in the event, including 7 international groups from France, Italy, the U.S., Poland, China, Finland, and Vietnam.  

The Firework Festival has the theme “MADE IN UNITY – GLOBAL CONNECTION – RADIANT ON FIVE CONTINENTS”. With each letter unify each value, U (Unique Culture), N (Nature Wisdom), I (Love Inspiration), T (Fairy Tales), Y (Young Generation). The festival aims to convey the message of a world of peace, friendship, and humanity and honor the values that inspire the community. 

DIFF 2024 is the 12th fireworks festival, contributing to Da Nang’s title as “Asia’s leading festival and event destination”. During DIFF, the city will organize many supporting activities such as festivals, music, and art events to serve residents and tourists. 

Most recently held in 2023, the festival created a tourism fever in Da Nang, with nearly 1 million visitors coming to the city in more than a month. As in previous years, the stage will be arranged next to the Han River, expected to be decorated with images of peach bells – one of the symbolic flowers of Ba Na peak. 

Every team will have 20 minutes to perform their fireworks displays according to the theme that is set for every night, including Cultural Quintessence, Natural Masterpieces, Magical Love, Wonderland, and Future Beats.

The Da Nang team, representing Vietnam will compete against and defending champion DIFF 2023 – France. The next matches are USA – Italy (June 15), Germany – Poland (June 22), and China – Finland (June 29). The final took place on the evening of July 13.
